ENJOY!
Wow this took a while. Sorry for the delay. Enjoy. I’ll hold off on posting tomorrows page until about 2 so people can catch up.
So I have been working on some projects for the new gallery show in my building ( I live in an artist colony). One of the things I want to show case was a Star Beam pic that I started and planned on finishing by next week, but that fell through. I started scribbling this yesterday morning. Some things just hit you.
This is Maxx. He’s been in my head for a while. About as long as Lightning Man. My brother and I used to play Star Wars in the back yard and we made our own characters and were (from our point of view) “In-Universe” charaters. Then I had taken a Maxx and plopped him in the “real world. ” It took a while before I REALLY got a hold of the character. This is drawn in the Butch Hartman style (T.U.F.F. Puppy, Danny Phantom, Fairly Oddparents).
Up until this point we’ve been pretty faithful to the movie script. There was a scene before this that was very “Goblin-esqu” but it would have added additional pages to the count. Hope you guys enjoy!
